Hi, I’m Lexi Dare and I write erotica. What does that mean? Think of it this way: you know how readers call the sex scenes in books the “good parts”? I cut to the chase and write the good parts. My stories aren’t for the faint of heart, the easily offended, or anyone who clutches their pearls. My imagination runs dark, twisted, and unapologetically bold, and I share it through my writing.
Stuff I don’t write:
When it comes to erotic content, I don’t write about kids, EVER, real animals, though shapeshifters are fair game, dead people, meaning actual bodies, vampires, though, also fair game, and body fluids left in the bathroom, just not my thing.

Straight, gay, bi, pan, curious, or complicated, my characters run the sexuality spectrum. I write about power and consent, whether it’s full on “do me, baby,” reluctant, or blackmail-laced. There’s BDSM, from playful spanking to whip-cracking. For me, it’s about exploring both the mental and physical sides of power and surrender. I write about the paranormal, vampires, witches, and werewolves, oh my, magic, and psychic powers. If it sparks my curiosity, it finds its way into a story.
